Odds and Ends screening series is putting out a call for Portland made Experimental film and video work. The initial show will take place this Spring at The Northwest Film Forum on May 2nd, 2010 as part of their Third Eye Cinema series, (exact date TBD) additional screenings will also take place in Portland, Eugene, San Francisco and perhaps a few others, please stay tuned.
What we're looking for: Awesome mind bending short films and videos that challenge the viewer to step outside their rote day to day perceptual habits. Blow our minds, please. NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED!
Submission requirements: Video must have been made within the last two years (2008 and beyond) and must be 10 minutes or under, acceptable formats for submission: NTSC DVD, or email me a link to your online video (youtube, vimeo, FTP site)
Deadline for submissions is April 1st 2009

About Odds and Ends: The Odds and Screening series was founded by award winning filmmaker Karl Lind in 2006 and has since gone on to provide curated video programing for the 2008 Taipei Biennial in addition to putting on several regional screening events in the Pacific Northwest. In 2008 Karl served as the editor for Vol.11 of The Journal of Short Film "Portland edition".
