I am excited to report that a there is some cool stuff happening in Portland for a few nights early next week (and every other night it seems), first up on Monday 10/27/08 at the Clinton St. Theater is a chance to catch a film directed by touring filmmaker James June Schneider called 1,2,3 Whiteout: The End of the Light Age. I remember seeing the description for it when I was at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam in 2007 but for whatever reason I unfortunately ended up missing it. Well, Monday night I am going to finally see it and what's even cooler is that the following evening the filmmaker will be performing in a musical/visual combo that brings together El Mapi + Matterlink and is known as VIDEOLOVE to the awesome Rererato art space in NE PDX! Oh hell yes.
